Escudo de prata, dois perfis de carril de negro e uma roda dentada de vermelho; campanha ondada de azul e prata. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco com a legenda de negro, em maiúsculas : “ MARVILA - LISBOA “.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 20, 1999.

The two railway profiles refer to the railway and epecially the Braço de Prata Station, which played an important role in the local development.

The cogwheel symbolises the importance of industry for the parish. The base shows the Tejo (Tagus) river that flows through the parish.
