Origin/meaning
The origin or meaning of these arms is not know. The oldest arms are shown in Hozier (1696), but may have been older. These arms show a kind of globe. This composition was still shown in the Café Sanka albums in the 1930s.
In the 19th century also arms with an orb appeared, maybe based on the previous globe. In 18763 the cross on the orb was removed, but again added in the middle of the 20th century.
