Escudo de prata, duas espigas de milho verde e, em chefe, um galo cantante de vermelho, com crista e barba de ouro; em contra-chefe, barco de negro realçado de prata, navegando sobre um pé de água de faixetas ondeadas de azul e prata, carregado de um peixe de prata. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro, em maiúsculas: «MONTE - MURTOSA».
