En sköld av guld med ett blått kugghjul, däröver en blå chef med trenne grankottar av sagda metall.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1918.

The arms show in the lower half a cogwheel for the local industry. The six spokes refer to the six railway lines that come together in the town. The pine cones refer to the forests and forestry.
