History: Formed at Filton in June 1929. Named City of Bristol Squadron 1930-1936.

Origin/meaning

The Boars head is from the arms of the County of Gloucestershire. The Boar is also noted for its fighting spirit. The Motto translates as "Fear nothing". The Badge was granted in November 1938.
