NO 728 SQUADRON, FAA

History:First formed at North Front, Gibraltar in 1943. Moved to Malta and remained until 1967 at Royal Navla Air Station Hal Far (HMS Falcon).

Official blazon
English Blue; upon a base wavy two bars wavy blue chief a Maltese Cross per pale red and white theron a hurt surmounted by a plate surmounted by a torteau pierced by an arrow point downward in bend sinister feathered black.

Motto: Docendo discimus

Origin/meaning

The Cross indicated th connection to Malta. The Target and Arrow symbolises the Target Towing Role. The Latin Motto translates "We learn by teaching". The badge was approved in 1953.
