NO 841 SQUADRON, FAA

History: First foremd in 1942 at Royal Naval Air Station Lee-on-Solent (HMS Daedalus), Hampshire as a Night Fighter Torpedo-Bomber-Reconnaissance Squadron using RAF Bases for anti-Shipping Patrols in the Channel. embarked in HMS Implacable 1944 and disbanding into no 828 Squadron later that Year.

Official blazon
English Blue; a barn owl (Tyto Alba) affronty proper perched on a beam white holding in his dexter claw a morse also white.

Motto: Lucemus nocte

Origin/meaning

THe Owl indicate the Night Fighting Role. The Latin Motto translates as "We shine by night". The Badge was approved in 1943.
