History: Formed at Husbands Bosworth in June 1944.

Origin/meaning

The Oak symbolises the strenght of the trainees, it also allude to the Oak from wich King Charles II watched the Battle of Naseby fought close to the location of the Unit. The meaning of the Flash of Lightning is unknown. The badge was granted in May 1945.
