Arms of Nowe Ostrowy

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on November 26, 2009.

The arms refer to two coats of arms belonging to families or people who have influenced the development of the area. The horseshoe with two crosses is the coat of arms of the Lubicz Rembielińscy family from the village of Błonie. The wavy base is based on the arms of the industrialist Leopold Kronenberg. Both Rembielińscy and Kronenberg contributed to the development of the area, including the construction of the Ostrów sugar plant, next to which the Nowe Ostrowy settlement developed.
