Département : Moselle

Blason de Oron (Moselle)

Official blason

  • (fr) De gueules à deux clefs d'or passées en sautoir, cantonnées de quatre glands d'argent.

Origin/meaning

The acorns are taken from the arms of the Longeville-lès-Saint-Avold Abbey to which the village historically belonged. The crossed keys are the symbol of St. Peter, the local patron saint.
