Official blason

I rött fält ett spetsigt treberg samt däröver två framkommande, uppresta och mot varandra vända renar, allt av silver.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 31, 1956.`

The arms show the local mountains, the Oviksfjällen. The two reindeer refer to the Sami culture and the reindeer farming in the area.
