PHILIP DU MOULIN

Born: 1934
Deceased: March 29, 2911

Bishop of Niagara, 1896-1911

Arms (crest) of Philip Du Moulin
Official blazon
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

As common in Canadian episcopal heraldry, the arms show the arms of the diocese impaled with the personal arms of the bishop.

The arms of the bishop are partially canting; Du Moulin means 'from the mill' and the arms thus show mill irons. The meaning of the wheel and cross I do not know.

Arms of Philip Du Moulin

Woodblock of the bishop with his arms
