Official blazon

On a white rectangular shaped embroidered device 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height and 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width, arced to top and bottom, a demi-torch erased of the field detailed and outlined blue and lit by a blue flame which is garnished red all within a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) border. Attached above, a blue scroll inscribed "BLUE FLAME” in white letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height. Attached below, a blue scroll inscribed "BATTALION" in white letters 5/16 inch (.79 cm) in height.


Origin/meaning

Red, white and blue are the school colors. The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved on 14 February 2006.
