SAINT-CYPRIEN-SUR-DOURDOU
Département : Aveyron
French | De sinople à saint Cyprien évêque, d'or, posé sur une terrasse ondée, cousue de gueules; au chef cousu d'azur chargé d'une coquille d'or accostée de deux annelets du même. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms show the local patron saint, St. Cyprinius on a green field, which symbolises the green environment of the village. The chief shows a scallop, as the village is on one of the roads to Santiago de Compostela (pilgrimage of St. James). The two annulets are taken from the arms of Rodez.
