Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: On a gold rectangular shaped embroidered device arced top and bottom, 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in height by 2 1/2 inches (6.35 cm) in width, all within a 1/8 inch (0.32 cm), a Bulldog cut at the shoulder, consisting of the colors maroon and white, detailed black, eyed white and tongue gold. Attached above, a gold scroll inscribed "ST. CLOUD" in maroon letters 5/16 inch (0.79 cm) in height. Attached below, a gold scroll inscribed "HIGH SCHOOL" in maroon letters 5/16 inch (0.79 cm) in height.
Shoulder Loop Insignia. Description: A gold and maroon color metal and enamel shield shaped device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in height, quartered and charged from upper left to lower right with a winged foot of Mercury, a Bulldog cut at the shoulder and collared with six spikes, a lamp of knowledge enflamed and encircled by two atomic contrails, and a lyre. Attached below a maroon scroll inscribed “TRUTH HONOR WISDOM” in base metal letters.
Origin/meaning
Shoulder Sleeve Insignia: Maroon and gold are the school colors. The bulldog is the school mascot.
The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia and the Shoulder Loop Insingia was both approved on 23 December 2005.
