SANKT MICHAEL IN DER OBERSTEIERMARK

Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on December 28, 1955.
The arm brandishing the sword represents St. Michael the Archangel, the Champion of God and fighter against the demons. The design behind the sword follows that of the War Memorial in the municipality, which was built after World War I.
