Seva belonged to the castle of El Brull, in the viscounty of Osona, until 1265, when it was bought by the bishop of Vic, that has owned the village until the 19<sup>th</sup> century; this territory was administrated by the families Centelles and Alemany-Cruïlles-Vilademany.
