В лазоревом поле над серебряными бегущими вправо волнами - скала того же металла, на ней золотой обращённый вправо калан настороже, сопровождённый во главе тремя опрокинутыми и обращёнными внешней стороной раковинами того же металла.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on August 5, 2004.
The sea otter refers to the natural reserve in the district which is rich in sea otters. The shells are a symbol for the islands of the district as well as for scallop fishing.
