Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat în bandă. În partea superioară, în stânga, în câmp verde, se află un mănunchi compus din două spice de grâu, doi știuleți de porumb și o floarea-soarelui, totul de aur. În partea inferioară, în stânga, în câmp albastru, se află o bovină de argint, iar în vârful scutului se află un brâu undat de argint. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 3, 2014.

Wheat ears, corn cobs and sunflower symbolize one of the main basic occupations of the inhabitants, agriculture, and their figure indicates the number of villages that make up the municipality.

The cow evokes another basic occupation of the inhabitants, animal husbandry.

The undulating bar represents the rivers Buzău and Călmățui.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
