Official blazon
Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat de un brâu de argint, undat, compus din trei valuri. În partea superioară, pe fond verde, se află două oi afrontate, de argint. În partea inferioară, pe fond roșu, este reprezentată o crenguță cu două mere și două frunze, de aur. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on July 26, 2006.
Sheep signify the occupation of the inhabitants of the area, raising animals, especially sheep.
The wavy bar symbolizes the Bârzava river and the Secu accumulation lake.
Golden apples represent the fruit richness of the area.
The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
