  • (af) Deursnede van silwer en rooi met 'n knobbel na die skildvoet, in die skildhoof 'n rooi protea, silwer geknop, groen gestingel en geblaar, en in die skildvoet 'n halwe silwer klawerrat.
  • (en) Per fess nowy inverted Argent and Gules, in chief a protea Gules, seeded Argent, slipped and leaved Vert and in base a demi-cogwheel trefly, Argent.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 12, 1984.

The cogwheel is a common symbol for Technical Colleges in Souoth Africa. As students come from the whole country to this college, the national flower, a Protea, is chosen in the upper half.
