Arms of Tinglev

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1985.

The silver pale symbolises a border pole, as the municipality has the longest land border with Germany of all Danish municipalities. The wavy bend refers to the Sondera and Grona rivers. The green filed refers to the agricultural character of the region.
