The dogs represent the mascot of the hall, the green field and the white chevrons represent the colors. DOG is a symbol of the hall.

The frogs are the symbol of Badin, the three represent the Manual School of St Joseph, which occupied Badin hall, and the palm leaf represents St. Stephen, the patron saint of Stephen Badin and tho whom the chapel is dedicated.
