Sköld, schackrutad i nio rutor, varannan av guld och belagd med ett rött kugghjul, varannan röd och belagd med ett järnvägshjul av guld.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on April 20, 1951.
The arms symbolise with a train wheel the importance of the local railway station for the development of the town, and with a cgwheel the importance of industry.
