Sköld delad av guld, vari ett blått fisknät, upphängt på tre likaledes blå ginstvallsstakar, och av blått, vari en skötbåt av guld.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on December 9, 1955.
The arms show in the upper half a fishing net, which refers to the importance of fishing for the municipality. The lower half also refers to fishing and show a local type of boat, taken from the local parish seal (known since 1625).
