De verde com duas faixas ondadas de prata, a primera carregada de uma peixe entre duas vieras e a segunda de uma vieira entre dois peixes; sendo estas peças de vermelho. Coronel naval de ouro forrado de vermelho. Sotoposto listel ondulado de prata com a legenda em letras negras maiúsculas tipo elzevir "AQUÁRIO VASCO DA GAMA". Approved 13 May 1981.
Origin/meaning
The Coat of Arms alludes to the collections of the Aquarium.
