VUITEBOEUF
Canton : Vaud
Official blazon
D'argent à la fasce ondée d'azur, accompagnée en chef de trois roues de moulin de sable et en pointe d'une église au naturel, couverte de gueules.
Origin/meaning
The arms were adopted in 1925.
The wavy bar symbolises the Arnon river that runs through the village. The three water mill wheels in the upper half symbolise the three former mills in the river. The base shows the chapel of St. Peter in Peney, a village in the municipality, which was the centre of the parish from 1228-1907.
