Von Blau und Rot durch zwei gestürzte allseits anstoßende silberne rechte Winkel geteilt; im Schildfuß ein silberner Dreiberg von ineinandergeschobenen Hügeln, aus dem in das obere Feld eine silberne Linde in Form eines Lebensbaumes mit silberner Lilie an der Spitze wächst.

Winklern's parish church is dedicated to Our Lady and was built on a hill, called Lindbichel. So a heraldic hill was put into the shield, along with a linden tree adorned with the Fleur-de-lis, which is a symbol for Our Lady. The two chevrons reversed illustrate the name of the municipality, Winklern, hidden in its "nook" (Winkel) in a mountain valley.
