Arms: Per fess nowy inverted Argent and Gules, in chief a lozenge Sable fracted saltirewise and in base a demi-cogwheel trefly Argent.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 16, 1996.

The cogwheel is a common symbol for Technical Colleges. The black diamonds refer to the coal mining in Witbank and the arms of the town of Witbank.
