Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite. În câmp roșu se află un leu de aur, ieșind dintr-o coroană de aur, cu 3 fleuroni și două perle, leul ținând în laba dreaptă, ridicată, o săgeată de argint, iar în laba stângă o zăbală de argint. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 5, 2005.

The lion is part of the coat of arms of the Mikes family.

The horse bit (zăbala) refers to the name of the locality.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
