Mary is represented as the mother of God and in an attitude of prayer, a figure of the praying church. The burning bush, in addition to remembering the figure of Moses, symbolizes the definitive revelation of God through the incarnation of the Son.

The oak on the left, typical of the Oromia landscape and present in the flag of the homonymous state, symbolizes fertility and peace: the elderly sit in its shade to discuss people's problems.
