The black sword denotes the covert and exemplifies the unit’s vigilance, loyalty and readiness to defend freedom, liberty and country. The rays of light are adapted from the military intelligence emblem; they allude to a compass and symbolize the unit’s readiness to respond no matter where needed. | ||
