Shoulder Sleeve Insignia.  Description:  On a blue circular embroidered device 3 1/2 inches (8.89 cm) in diameter, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) gold border, two crossed lightning flashes with points down.  Both flashes are gold and the top flash is a lighter gold.  Above the flashes is the inscription “WELDON” in gold letters and below the flashes is the inscription “HIGH SCHOOL” in gold letters.
Shoulder Loop Insignia.  Description:  A Gold color metal and enamel device 1 1/8 inches (2.86 cm) in width overall consisting of a shield blazoned:  Per pale Argent and Azure, a roundel per pale counterchanged of the field bearing a shield per pale counterchanged quarterly of the like, in the first quarter a lamp flamant; in the second quarter a ray (of lightning) bendwise; in the third quarter an artist’s palette; and in the fourth quarter a winged foot all of the last. Overall a mullet of four points Gold.  Attached below the shield, a Blue scroll inscribed “Chargers” in base metal letters.

Shoulder Sleeve Insignia: Blue and gold are the school’s colors.  The Chargers are the school’s mascot.  The dark gold flash represents the school’s past and the light gold flash is symbolic of the school’s future. 
Shoulder Loop Insignia: Blue and gold are the school’s colors.  The lamp symbolizes scholarly achievement and knowledge.  The lightning flash is for perseverance and hard work. The palette represents artistic skills and achievement.  The star stands for unity.
The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia and Shoulder Loop Insignia was approved on 9 March 2006.
