The Bishop impales in his personal half the arms of his Congregation with his personal symbols. These latter are based on the arms of an (unrelated) Willinger family of Bavaria, who bear in the lower half of their shield | |||

The number of bars has been enlarged to eight in imitation of the coat of the prelate's name Patron, St. Aloysius Gonzaga, as the arms of the Italian Gonzaga family used eight horizontal stripes of alternate gold and black.
