Shoulder Sleeve Insignia: Maroon, white and gold (yellow) are the school colors.  The alligator is the school mascot.  The alligator entwines a torch of knowledge reflecting the cadets’ pride and dedication to their school, community, and country.
Shoulder Loop Insignia: Maroon, white and gold (yellow) are the school colors.  The gold disc alludes to the school’s home state, Florida, the “Sunshine State”.  The alligator is the school mascot.  The triangle denotes the cadets’ involvement in school, community, and country. 


The Shoulder Sleeve Insignia and the Shoulder Loop Insignia was both approved on 27 February 1995.
