==== | ===Origin/meaning=== | ||
When Leutershausen received city rights is not known, but it was mentioned as a city in the last part of the 14th century. The oldest seal dates from the same time and shows a building, which looks like a palace. Later seals all show some building, which differed widely in size and shape. The building may be a canting element (Haus=house). The above composition dates from the 17th century and also appeared on the mayor's chain from 1819. The two banners are the banners of the Hohenzollern family, as Dukes of Brandenburg-Ansbach. | When Leutershausen received city rights is not known, but it was mentioned as a city in the last part of the 14th century.
