In Silber mit einer geschweiften blauen Spitze, darin ein silbernes Waidrad, vom ein rotes Doppelkreuz; hinten eine blaue Weintraube. Origin/meaningThe arms were officially granted on February 17, 1997. The cross is taken from the arms of the Hersfeld Abbey and refers to the fact that the village for a long time was a possession of the Abbey. The grapes refer to St. Wigbert, patron saint of the local church. The wheel and the blue colour refer to the cultivation of woad (Isatis tinctoria) and the manufacture of a blue dye from pressing the plant. Contact and SupportPartners: Your logo here ?
