Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted on March 14, 2024.

The sculptor's chisels refer to the sculptor Alfred Boucher (1850-1934) born in Bouy-sur-Orvin. The bear is the attribute of Saint Aventin, the patron saint of the parish.

The wavy bar represents the Orvin which runs through the municipality. The wheat and the green color symbolize the agricultural character of the municipality.
