Shoulder Sleeve Insignia. Description: On an orange rectangle with beveled corners and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) black border, an orange tiger face with white highlights and black details between the inscription “BRIGHTON” arching at top and “HIGH SCHOOL” arcing in base in black letters. The overall dimensions are 3 1/4 inches (8.26 cm) in height by 2 3/4 inches (6.99 cm) in width.
Origin/meaning
Black and orange are the school’s colors. The tiger is the school’s mascot and denotes the cadets’ courage, pride, and discipline. The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved 18 November 1993.
