Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in October 2021.

The bend of red diamonds is taken from the arms of the De Caurel family, former lords of Dancourt. The sword is a symbol for Saint Martin of Tours, the local parish saint. The green field symbolises agriculture and the crosier indicates that Popincourt was a possession of the Abbey of Corbie.
