Origin/meaning

The arms were registered on ?.

The arms are those of the late medieval Kravař family, lords of the village for a long time. These arms were proposed and have been used since 1969.

Before the town used arms based on the former seal of the city, known since 1632. These arms showed a key, star, crescent and the letters RA, see below.
