Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on May 10, 2001.
The star is the symbol of St. Mary, the local patron saint. The brick bar symbolises long inhabitation and the two (former) castles in the area. The barrel symbolises the importance of wine and barrel making in the municipality.
