DOBRITZ
State : Sachsen-Anhalt
District (Kreis) : Anhalt-Bitterfeld (until 2007 Anhalt-Zerbst)
Verwaltungegemeinschaft : Verwaltungsgemeinschaft Elbe-Ehle-Nuthe
Incorporated into : 2010 Zerbst
Official blason:
Von Rot, Silber und Blau durch Göpelschnitt geteilt; vorn eine silberne Ähre, hinten eine rote Eichel, unten ein silbernes Mühlenrad.
Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially granted on May 31, 1994.
The arms show a wheat-ear and an acorn for the agricultural character and the forests in the municipality. The base shows a water-mill wheel in blue, for the many rivers and ponds in the municipality, in which water-mills were used to saw wood. The colours are those of the Lindau Estate, to which the village historically belonged.
