Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on January 28, 1992.

The silver bar in a red field is the historical shield of the Counts of Vianden. Enzen belonged historically to Vianden (now in Luxembourg). The stick with the cross is the symbol for St. John, the patron saint of the local church.
