WĄBRZEŹNO
Province: Kujawy i Pomorze
County: Wąbrzeźno
Origin/meaning
The arms and seal were officially granted on January 10, 1534 by Bishop Johannes Dantiscus (Johann von Höfen-Flachsbinder).
The second seal of the city, which is known since 1660, also shows the same composition. The two elements probably represent the two rulers in the area, the Bishops of Warmia and some local noble family.
