Official blazon
Portuguese Escudo de ouro, coberto de rede vermelha, escudete de prata com três gaivotas de sua cor, realçadas de negro. Duas faixas ondeadas, uma de verde e outra de azul, a primeira carregada com dois peixes e a segunda com um, todos de prata. Coroa mural de quatro torres de prata. Listel branco com a legenda de negro : " VILA DA MURTOSA ".
