Origin/meaning
The arms were originally granted in 1580 and the current arms officially registered on June 26, 2022.
The rose in the arms is taken from the arms of the Lords of Rosenberg, who ruled the village and granted the city rights in 1580. To distinguish the arms from many similar amrs with a rose, the arms were changed in 2022.
