Incorporated into : 1977 Tienen

Wapen van Goetsenhoven/Coat of arms (crest) of Goetsenhoven

Official blazon

Van goud met een schuinkruis geruit van keel en van zilver van twee rijen.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on March 1, 1962.

The arms are those of the Lords of Goetsenhoven from the early 14th century. The arms appear on the seal from 1437, even though the Lords of Goetsenhoven became extinct nearly a century earlier. When the municipality applied for arms, they based it on the 1437 seal.
