Coupé au 1er d'argent à trois lionceaux de sinople armés et lampassés de gueules couronnés d'or (qui est Marquisat de Franchimont); au 2 de gueules au perron d'or accosté des lettres L.G. (qui est principaute de Liège) - l'écu sommé d'une couronne à trois fleurons séparés l'un de l'autre par trois perles.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on February 19, 1951.

The upper half of the arms show the three lions of the Marquisate of Franchimont, the lower half the arms of the city of Liège. The village was historically part of Franchimont and subsequently of the State of Liège.
