Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on May 20, 2000.
The keys are the symbol of St. Peter, the local patron saint. The red colour symbolises the massacre of 23 inhabitants of the village on March 20, 1809 in a battle against the French invaders. The waves represent the Este river.
